Our Surprise Sunday Moscow Visit

By pure happenstance, we hooked up with the H-R's
via Skype. We started with audio only, then we
realized that we both had out dated software and
upgraded, and had a wonderful video introduction
to our newest family member, Anja H-R.


Uncle Bill is making L laugh.


Wow, we miss them so much and can't wait to
meet Anja this Wednesday.

MJ & Gregg's 28th Wedding Celebration

Mary Jane and I celebrated our 28th wedding
anniversary today. I have been so freakin lucky
through out my life.
Marrying a wonderful woman like MJ; who is truely
my best friend. Having two great daughters, two son in-laws
that are assets to our family and now two grand children that
would make anyone envious.
I appologize to everyone just listed for my lame
use of adjectives

We ate at the 1913 Room of the Amyway Grand
Hotel. MJ had the Onion Soup and the Braised
Saddle of Rabbit, while I had the Frisse with Maytag
Blue Cheese Salad and the Northern Lake Walleye
Napoleon, pictured here.

We have to thank my Sister Linda and niece
Missy for a gift certificate to the the Amway Grand
that we used this evening. We loved helping with
Missy's wedding.

Thursday

At the end of the day, M gets a special treat.

We had Soren with us today. Jill, M, Soren
and Gregg went to the zoo. Kind of chilly and wet,
but we still had fun. Marcos slept for about the
last half hour of our visit.

On the way home we picked up a snack, then
Soren and Gregg hit the Van Dangle museum.

M didn't show any signs of post trip funk.

We didn't get any good pictures while we were out
today.

Dad get things straightened out at their house.
He's looking pretty tired while he ate and didn't
like his quick bath much.
He was literally asleep before Jill laid him down.

L had lots of fresh air today, the air temp
reached mid 60's, and Grandpa gave her a workout.
She was put down un-taco'd, and moved around,
placing her feet up on the back of the sofa, then
fell asleep.
