Bettie enjoyed guarding this roll a way bed from
the hordes of Genghis Khan. None of the horde
got close to the bed.
Al and Joe are trying to decide if today's weather
is the best of the year.
Lois and Leigh are inspecting the rigging job done
on Leigh's load.
Ditto. It was great seeing you all and thanks for
your help and support.

We had dinner this evening in Hastings with Jane
Swanson. Shes really put out a spread for us. It
was so nice not having to eat restaurant food.

Last Thursday a storm came through the area and here
is evidence of a little of the damage.
This is how Gregg spent some of his day today.
Ok, Gregg was forced to help his aunt in ways that no nephew was ever meant to,,,and wasn't even offered 2 bits for his trouble.
Very reminiscent of this from "Christmas Vacation",,,Grandma Nora Griswold (Diane Ladd): "Sweetheart, your grandma Nora's got a real painful burr on my heel. If you rub it for me, I'll give you a whole quarter. Okay?"
Russ: "A quarter"
Grandma Nora: "And, I'll give Audrey a quarter too. Audrey!"
