Beautiful Friday

As you can see, today was beautiful, not a cloud
in the sky.

Some garden plants have been waiting for a day
like this. Thanks garden goddess!

Warmer Temps

OK, I was beginning to think that we would have
to use Issac's present to Mom as the new snow
depth gage, the figure sits on a stand that is 8"
up from the ground and the fishing figure stands
16" above the stand, but it has warmed up the last two
days and the goddess is once again been freed from
her snowy hell.

Nice sunny day, no?

Jill and Sean Have Moved Back

Jill and Sean have moved back to W. Mi.
They arrived around 5:30 PM this afternoon.

Killer was looking forward to coming back. He is
really looking forward to spending time at his
Grand parents houses. Mom and Dad, Janet, please
let us know when you'd like to take him for a day
or so. :>)

Here, everyone is trying to make Killer comfortable
in his new temporary home.

Hard to Keep a Goddess Down

She's back. The snow covering the garden goddess
has settled enough, so that she can breath again.
At least until the next big snow fall. It's good knowing
that she is under there, watching over our garden.

COLD!

Man it's been cold.
The lowest temp I've seen on the car
thermometer was -17ºF the other morning.
We haven't gotten much snow since the blizzard
last weekend.
I'm glad that the goddess is well insulated under
about 8 inches of snow. That's a total of about
2 feet or so.

She's Gone

I took this picture about an hour ago.
The garden goddess is gone, hidden under a
blanket of fluffy, dry snow. Right now, you
can't see any sign of her and it's still snowing
and blowing pretty hard.

Snow Check

We had more snow overnight and during the day
today. The garden goddess is almost gone, which
might be good for her, a nice insulating blanket.
This weekend, we are to have the coldest
temperatures that we've had in 5 years or so.
