This Weekend's Photos

We had our driveway's cracks filled and the whole
thing seal coated. A small business man did the
job with one of his daughters. It only took them
about an hour. Sergio and I did the job 2 years\
ago, the sealing took me about 6 hours to complete
and the sealing part took us about 3 hours.

A view of flowers, the astor and mumms are looking
very nice right now.....and oh, what is that?
A picnic table for a little man? :>)

Speaking of the little man. Here is his room, if
it works for him and his parents.

Oh Happy Days, version 2

E phoned immigration today and was told that
the proper info is in S's file so he is good to go.
They need the hard copy of the letter or maybe
can have a copy emailed or faxed to them, they
need the letter to present to the gate keeper
at CDJ. Soon very soon, we shall all be together
again!

Misc. Weekend Pictures

The crew at Saturday's Bethany vs. Lutheran
Social Services of Lansing Football Match.

Michael with the ball. The guy trying to take
the ball away is an Akok.

It was kind of a cool and windy day.

Dessert.

We removed most of the little tree that was outside
of the kitchen window. We'll see what grows back
next spring. The white specs that look like they
are on the umbrella, are little swarming insects,
that are flying and closer to the camera than they
are to the umbrella.

Labor Day

We had company for lunch today. J and S although
S had to leave for work before Grandma and
Grandpa R arrived. Pasta salad, ham sandwiches,
and chips were served for lunch. We had a great
visit and then E and M were on line and we were
able to see and hear our Morelian family.
It was brilliant.

Our Visit With Granny

About 12:30 AM, at a truck stop just beyond
Madison, WI. We ate breakfast, not even as
good as the Perkins, but I missed the exit, kind
of blurry eyed.

We picked Granny up after lunch on Thursday.
We took a drive over to Northfield, back through
Cannon and then to Welch and back. MJ brought
a lap top with and she showed Granny pictures
of the L's, well, mainly of M. We fixed a pot roast,
potatoes, carrots and a salad that we ate for dinner
with Granny. We had purchased rice pudding
for dessert, Granny wolfed it down. Granny kind
of wolfed everything down. It was great seeing her
eat with gusto.

On Friday, we had Granny over for a pizza, her
choice, lunch.
On Saturday morning, A and B came down for
breakfast with G and MJ and a short visit with
Granny. It was great seeing them.

One final picture with Granny. Granny showed
her funny side quite a few times, cracking a few
jokes and timely aside looks. She said that she
was feeling a little shaky after her walk to to and
back from breakfast, so she was all covered up
and was using O2 when we got to the care center.
She maybe looks worse here than she was actually
feeling. She was just chillin'.
She was in good spirits and we all had a nice visit.
During our Friday evening visit, we cleaned out the
bird feeder that is just outside of her window and
on Saturday we filled the feeder with a bag of
wild bird seed. A gift that J made for Granny is
just behind and to the left of my great cranium.

On Saturday, driving through the Mississippi valley.

Driving over the mighty Mississippi. Traffic was
light to moderately heavy, but always moving right
along and we made good time!
