Sunday Shots

Beautiful Sunday afternoon for baking. The windows are open,
breeze is blowing and the aroma of (clockwise from top left)
sausage and spaghettie pie, banana bread and two rhubarb/blueberry
upside down cakes is mouthwatering. Delicious too,
I just had a piece of pie and bread. G has been very busy.
MF is back from his internship at MI-Tech and so the
food prep on weekends will ramp up again. M had a good
time, and enjoyed his experience living on campus
for 7 weeks. He'll be busy these next few getting ready f
or the fall and taking his GED.
The Garden Godess is passing "Thyme" with this lovely little white butterfly.

AhhYiup,,,,Crops Are Looking Good,,,,

I have too long a commute every morning, but
it is beautiful country.

Oat field just south of Lincoln Lake.

Hay bales just up the road from MCC.

The potato plants are in flower. There are lots
of different crops that are grown in Montcalm and
Kent County.

Opps

This is an email that Em sent to me this morning:

Good morning!
When M and I got home last night he started shifting his pants a little and looking uncomfortable. I checked his diaper and lo and behold, he was
wearing an L diaper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
signed-Em

So sorry M. It did look tight, but you need to take some responsibility here.
And don't use the fact your not 2 years old as an excuse! :>)
Love ya little dude.

M Talking

After dinner M had a nice little conversation with
the TV and then with Grandpa.
I had the camera resting on my belly to start with
and was giggling a little, that's why the picture
is a little shaky starting out.

Granny And Gramps Would Have Been Proud

M was here for his afternoon nap.
When Em came to pick him up, she had his little
VW beetle car thingey. As they drove down the
sidewalk, I waved, M craned his neck and watched; he
blew a kiss or two and craned his neck some more
to make sure that I was still waving; I was.
They were almost to their house when I felt it safe to stop waving.
Thanks Granny and Gramps for a wonderful Robinson tradition!

Some Spur Of The Moment Fun......

M's first visit to BIG BOY. Em called us and MJ
and I met her and M at our urban Big Boy.
As we pulled into the parking lot, MJ quickly
noticed Em with M straining out of an open
window, trying to get our attention.

We recently purchased a new pocket camera and
we are getting acquainted with the concept of focus.
M with the menu.

Watching M's and Em's brownie fudge vanilla
ice cream thingy being made.

'nough said!

Lemon meringue pies for tomorrow's father's
day gala.

Some additional prep for tomorrow's German
potato salad.
