Friday With Granny And At Mall Of America

M meets his Great-great Grandma R for the first time. It was quite a historic meeting of the 5th generation - we were just missing Jerry R. to make it complete, but very nice to get all four generations in the same place at once anyway. M especially had fun checking out all of Granny's wheeled gear-the walker and chair. He entertained her neighbors with his friendly waves and proud display of the number one to tell them how old he was.

M takes a ride on the carousel at Mall of America on Friday morning. Not much shopping that day, but lots of fun, checking out the entertainment at the mall.
Here is M and Daddy on a pint-sized roller coaster, which he loved. You can see a slight mark on M's face in this shot. He took a header at the house Thursday, and caught a nasty rug burn under his left eye. It didn't slow him down much.
Lunch at the cafe above. M loved the robotic alligator, though he did not attempt the penny toss into the roaring maw. He does do a fierce immitation of the sound of the roar though. Lunch included a thunder and ligtning storm every 20 minutes. Not a lunch for the weak of heart.
Musical entertainment featured a children's choir. They sang "jingle bells", so M. was very happy.
Finally, ended the day back at Granny's room where M was presented with a Turkey shaped cookie. A big hit, especially eating the icing off of it! More trips up and down the halls, greeting the neighbor's dog and seeing a beautiful bald eagle flying overhead as we went out the doors of Angels Care on Thursday.
