A small taste of Marcos' first ever soccer practice. Grandpa had Linnea with, so didn't get the best video and view of how things went. Perhaps Em will share her view point of how the practice went.

So cute! I think Linnea should be on the team too. She has a good kick.
It was a crazy first game. Since Checo is the coach, he had a lot of house-keeping items to get out of the way like giving all the players a new ball and t-shirt and reminding them about photo day (the second game - don't know how well these 2 and 3 year olds will sit for it.) The kids seemed to like the excercises that Checo had for them. It was very windy, and a little hard to hear (Checo isn't a shouter so I had to yell "GO" and "FREEZE" for one of the games). It was fun!
Marcos sure needed some hugs.
When Linnea and I got to the practice, Marcos ran over for a big old hug from Grandpa and after I put Linnea down, he rushed over and gave Linnea one of the nicest hug he's given her.
As we were getting ready to leave home for the practice, I was talking to Linnea about where we would be going and who we'd be seeing. Nea was all smiles and when I mentioned how much we all love our Marcos, Nea's expression left no doubt how she feels about her older cousin.
OMG, SO CUTE!!!! And who knew Blue Dog was such a good soccer player, too?!?
