Weeirrrrd Monday

I was looking forward to an early morning get-together with Juliette and went out to the car to find a cold, dead battery. Suzu had not been driven since last Wednesday, but very unusual to have ANY problems with start up. No cell phone for J - knew she was probably enroute anyway....It was early enough that I could borrow Jill's vehic and still get to a very quick breakfast and be back in time for Jill to get to work. My plan was to have the AARP roadside service rescue me in the meantime...(deja vu, Anne?)

So J and I are speed talking as we have a quick catchup over coffee and toast and suddenly J spots a mouse on the floor of the restaurant near our booth. I HATE mice!!!!! and especially in the restaurant where I'm eating. The waitress was alerted and she non-chalantly plopped a styrafoam cup over the nasty little creature and carried him off to the kitchen of all places!

To say the least that was a major creepy feeling - don't think I'll be eating at this place any time soon if ever again in my lifetime. YUCK!

"Car Rescue" guy Scott, was promptly at our door by the time I returned and easily revived my ride. I was only 20 minutes or so late.

That AARP roadside assistance is the BEST.....Gregg and I have used it a half dozen times or so and they've always been prompt and service friendly.

Looking forward to another interesting day tomorrow!

Yuck!. I know those 4 legged creatures can get inside through teeny tiny openings, but yuck, in a restaurant. By the waitress's calm demeaner I'll bet this happens often in this place.

Glad the AAA guy came pronto.
