Two Days In Chicago

Em and M traveled to Chicago on Thursday
morning, via Amtrak.
M was obviously quite excited by the
whole idea of rail transport. He sure has
a nice back pack, doesn't he?

The reason for the trip was to visit Aunty Rose.
Here Rose is introducing M to Chef Luciano.
Rose has been friends with the Chef for many years.
He was very kind to M, and showed him around
his kitchen.
M enjoyed a dance date with new friends.
On Friday, Grandma R met up with the Lopezs,
had a nice meal at Feed, and enjoyed some
sight seeing.
Here, young M is walking on some fake snow, that
is decorating part of the set of a movie, currently
being filmed in the Humboldt Park neighborhood
of Chicago; which is also the films name.
ACTION!
Of coarse you recognize mister Luis Guzmán,
probably one of Hollywood's hardest working
actors, he is wearing the tall gray hat.
Debra Messing met M and later missed her son
so much, that she had a "melt down" on the set
according to one of the staff. She should have
gotten together with M after the melt down,
he would have been able to make her smile, he
gets very concerned when someone he cares
about is sad or down.

M stopped in for a coffee and insisted on siting
with this nice young lady.
Too bad no one had any fun,,,,,,,

At Lucianos I had Chicken Curry which was VERY spicy and flavorful (Marcos loved it too). Rose had Sea Bass and a Swiss Chard salad. Also rice, broccoli and bread with Indian spices. Delicious!!! I highly recommend that restaurant!
